Amanda Markman

Amanda joined Tamela in 2017 as Head Sponsor Services. Amanda has 25 years of corporate finance and sponsor experience both in an advisory capacity (for 17 years) and within a corporate (for 8 years). Prior to joining Tamela she was Vice President of Corporate Finance at Gold One International Limited and Goliath Gold Mining Limited (2009-2017). She has also held the positions of Associate Director at Macquarie First South Advisers (Pty) Ltd (2007-2008), Director at Sansara Financial Services (Pty) Ltd (2006-2007), Director (Corporate Finance) at Brait South Africa Limited (2002-2006) and Associate Director at HSBC Investment Services (Africa) (Pty) Ltd (1997-2002). Amanda is an approved executive with the JSE Limited. Amanda completed her accounting articles at KPMG. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA).
