Tshepisho Makofane

Tshepisho is a Managing Director of Tamela Holdings. He joined Tamela in 2009. Prior to joining Tamela Holdings, Tshepisho was a transactor at Makalani Holdings Limited (2005 to 2009), a listed R2.5 billion mezzanine fund, where he worked on all aspects of funding BEE and acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. Prior to joining Makalani, Tshepisho spent four years in the Project and Infrastructure Finance team at Investec. Prior to Investec, Tshepisho did his articles with KPMG. Tshepisho is a Chartered Accountant, and graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours in Accounting, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA). In addition, Tshepisho also obtained a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from Rand Afrikaans University, now the University of Johannesburg.
