Thato Tsita

Thato joined Tamela Capital Partners in September 2022 as a Partner. She has more than 16 years investment banking experience gained at Standard Chartered Bank, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. Her most recent role was at Standard Chartered Bank as an Executive Director, Leveraged Finance, where she headed the Southern Africa business.

Prior to Standard Chartered, Thato was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs where she spent 5 years in M&A Advisory covering Sub-Saharan Africa. She started her career at J.P. Morgan in 2005 where she spent 5 years predominantly in M&A Advisory in Johannesburg and London.

Thato holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance (Hons) from the University of Cape Town.
