Introduction

This document summarises the most important aspects of the JSE Listings Requirements ("JSE LR") applicable to equity issuers. The JSE Debt and Specialist Securities Listings Requirements ("JSE Debt LR") apply to issuers that have securities listed on the JSE Debt Market. This document does not deal with the JSE Debt LR, the most important aspects of which are concerned with the strength of a Debt Issuer and/or nature of debt or specialist securities, the payment of Debt Securities interest or dividends on a periodic basis and the eventual redemption, repurchases or conversion of Debt Securities.

The content is arranged in sequential topical format with reference to the relevant section(s), schedules, guidance letters and practice notes of the JSE LR. The references provided are to the paragraph numbers in a particular section of the JSE LR. Reference to "ListCo" effecting any action requires such action to be effected by ListCo's directors.
